Supplier-invoice retrieval and ledger data behind one official MCP endpoint and CLI; MIT toolkit repo.

Well retrieves supplier invoices from 100,000+ web portals, email, and WhatsApp through a Chrome extension, structures them, and exposes invoices, companies, contacts, transactions, and the accounting ledger as MCP tools at api.wellapp.ai/v1/mcp, with a Claude Code plugin and a Python CLI over the same OAuth backend. The hosted product is in private beta and free to start; the MIT repo holds the CLI, exporters (JSON, CSV, UBL, QuickBooks IIF, Xero CSV), extractor tooling, and the plugin.

## Use it when

- month-end means logging into fifteen supplier portals to download invoices and we want that done for us and queryable from our agent
- we want our agent to list unpaid supplier invoices and fix vendor details from the terminal, then hand a clean export to the accountant

## Gotchas

- Private beta; pricing after beta is unpublished
- Retrieval only works in Chrome; the MCP sees what the extension has already captured
- Repo is a toolkit around a closed hosted backend, not the product source
- French-market accents (compte de resultat, Factur-X) in the skills

The hosted service is closed; what you adapt is the toolkit: the CLI reads WELL_URL and WELL_CLI_PORT, the Claude Code plugin under plugins/well carries the finance skills you can edit, and new export formats are a Python class registered with @ExporterFactory.register in exporters/. Expect to write a little code for anything beyond pointing the CLI or plugin at your account.
