# Krayin CRM

MIT Laravel CRM for leads, contacts, quotes and email, configured through .env and packages.

A modular Laravel and Vue CRM with leads, contacts, products, quotes, activities, email parsing and web forms. Configuration is the standard Laravel .env plus config/*.php; features ship as Webkul packages. The core has no API for agents: routes/api.php is the framework stub and the separate rest-api package is stale.

## Use it when

- I need a free CRM on our own server with leads, quotes and inbound email, and the team knows PHP
- I want a permissive license so we can bundle a customized CRM for clients

## Gotchas

- No built-in API: routes/api.php is the Laravel stub (one auth:api /user route); the official krayin/rest-api package was last pushed 2025-09-01
- Default branch is 2.2; README installs from the main tag
- Needs 3 GB RAM and MySQL 8.0.32+; PostgreSQL not supported

## Adaptable: make it yours

Effort: config-only (28 things to edit)

Copy .env, set APP_URL, database and mail values, run php artisan krayin-crm:install. IMAP_* variables turn on inbound email parsing; GOOGLE_CLIENT_* enables Google contact sync. Deeper changes are Laravel packages under packages/Webkul (Lead, Contact, Quote, Automation, WebForm) and config/*.php; paid extensions (WhatsApp, VoIP, multi-tenant) are sold separately.
