Ever Gauzy
Open business platform with employee time tracking, HR and scheduling, and an official 323-tool MCP server.
Ever Gauzy is an AGPL business-management platform: employee time and activity tracking, HRM, time-off approvals, schedules and appointments, projects and tasks, CRM, invoicing and more, with desktop timer apps. The Builder ships a REST API with Swagger and an MCP server package (@gauzy/mcp-server, apps/mcp) in the same monorepo. Scheduling is one module among many.
- I run an agency with contractors and want time tracking, time-off and invoicing under one roof I control
- I want my agent to log time, plan the day and update tasks for the team through MCP
- AGPL-3.0 copyleft
- Breadth is the cost: this is an ERP; scheduling and staffing are two modules of dozens, and production compose pulls PostgreSQL, Redis, OpenSearch, MinIO, Jitsu, Cube and Zipkin
- The API refuses to start on blank or default secrets (README Production section)
- MCP tool counts in packages/mcp-server/README.md were last updated 2025-08-05
- Hosted app.gauzy.co is labelled alpha and 'use it cautiously'
Last activity Sep 2, 2026. Fit: adaptable 2, operable 3.

Copy .env.sample to .env (or edit .env.compose for Docker) and set the four secrets the API refuses to start without: JWT_SECRET, JWT_REFRESH_TOKEN_SECRET, JWT_VERIFICATION_TOKEN_SECRET, EXPRESS_SESSION_SECRET. Then DB_TYPE and DB_ORM, API_BASE_URL and CLIENT_BASE_URL, branding (APP_NAME, APP_LOGO), and the OAuth pairs you need. Modules, roles and organization settings are configured in the UI. The full stack (OpenSearch, MinIO, Redis, Cube, Jitsu) is optional but heavy.

Operable: what an agent can drive
Interface
OfficialMCP serverpublished by the builderremote or local
How an agent can drive an Operable Listing, in five levels: native (built for the agent as the primary interface), official (the Builder ships an agent interface), wrapped (a third party wraps the software's API), config (an agent can only drive it by editing files), gui (screen control only). An interface is official only when it is published by the same organization that ships the software. GUI-level Listings are allowed and sorted last.
