Rampjet runs mothermachine. The site has no accounts, no sign-in, and no ads. It does measure visits with Google Analytics. This page lists what that collects and what else is recorded when you visit.

Google Analytics

Where you are decides how this starts. In the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics stays off until you choose Accept. Everywhere else it starts when a page loads, unless your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, which we treat as a no.

The site judges where you are from your device's time zone. Google also checks your location, and if it places you in one of these regions it stops cookies until you accept. In that one case it can still receive a page view without cookies.

Once running, Google Analytics loads through Google Tag Manager. It records the pages you view, the site that sent you, your browser and device type, your approximate location, how far you scroll, the links you follow to other sites, and the files you download. We use this to see which pages people read and how they found them.

Google says Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Google handles this data under its own policies.

Google keeps event data for two months and user data for 14 months. The 14 months start again if you come back. We haven't linked Google Ads, and Google signals is off.

It sets two cookies, and each lasts two years by default:

• _ga tells one visitor from another.
• _ga_46XEG0M3W2 keeps track of your session.

How to change your choice

Use Cookie settings in the footer of any page, at any time. Declining removes the cookies. We ask again after six months. The site works the same without analytics, and you can also stop it in these ways:

• Install Google's opt-out browser add-on.
• Block cookies or tracking scripts in your browser or with a content blocker.

Hosting

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, and GitHub says a visitor's IP address is logged and stored for security. We do not receive those logs.

Stored in your browser

Three settings stay in your browser and are never sent to us. mm.consent remembers your cookie choice, mm.still remembers whether you paused motion, and mm.view remembers the grid or list layout.

Agents and the skill

The /mothermachine skill and MCP server download the public index from this site and search it on your machine, so your search words stay there. They send us no telemetry. Agents that fetch our JSON or Markdown files do not run Google Analytics.
